getBundleId
Read the current update ID shown in the console.
Usage
hotUpdater.getBundleId() returns the currently selected update's ID,
matching the ID shown in the console. Use it in support logs or a settings
screen to find the update selected on a device.
import { hotUpdater } from "./hotUpdater";
console.log("ID:", hotUpdater.getBundleId());You can inspect that update from the CLI:
npx hot-updater bundle show <id>Return value
getBundleId(): stringThe getter is synchronous and does not make a network request. Before an OTA update is active, it returns the identifier embedded in the native build.
After an update is staged, this ID can change before the app reloads. It
identifies the selected update; it does not confirm that its code is already
running. Call hotUpdater.reload() to start a staged update.
Promoting the same files to another channel creates a new ID. Changing delivery settings does not require uploading the files again.
For the selected artifact ID and native verification state, use
getActiveUpdateState().
getCrashHistory() returns artifact
IDs, which differ from the Console update ID.
